TuanChe Starts Strategic Partnership With Easyhome; Shares Inch Up

TuanChe and Easyhome said they would jointly build a car-home fair, creating a new one-stop retail experience for home decoration products and automotive services.

TuanChe Ltd. (Nasdaq: TC), a leading automotive marketplace in China, announced that it has established a strategic partnership with a home furnishing business based on consumer products platform, Beijing Easyhome Furnishing Chain Group.

As the leader of the two different industries, the corporation of the TuanChe and Easyhome will jointly build a car-home fair, creating a new scene of one-stop retail experience for home decoration products and automotive services.

“We are excited to partner with Easyhome, the leading home furnishing platform in China,” Wei Wen, chief executive officer of TuanChe, said, “The effective integration of our online and offline resources will enable us to further improve the efficiency and customer experience of our future auto shows. Leveraging Easyhome’s strong brand recognition and existing customer base, we will also be able to expand the coverage of our auto show operations and penetrate new markets.”

After the cooperation, consumers will have a diversified shopping experience in the store of Easyhome. In the future, TuanChe is expected to bring its auto show events to Easyhome’s retail locations in over 200 cities in China. And Easyhome can enhance its brand influence and expand its customer traffic flow through the auto show.

TuanChe, which was founded in 2010, offers services to connect automotive consumers with various industry players, such as automakers, dealers and other automotive service providers.

Shares of TuanChe closed today at $6.9, rose almost 2 percent.
