GreenTree Hospitality Announces New CFO

GreenTree Hospitality Group Ltd. (NYSE: GHG), a top hotel franchisor in China, said today that it named a new chief financial officer replacing Jasmine Xin Yue Geffner, whose employment contract expired at year-end.

The Shanghai-based company said Yiping Yang, formerly Vice President of Operations at GreenTree, was named the new chief financial officer.

"I would like to thank Jasmine for her invaluable service and contribution to the Company, including her devoted effort to the successful completion of our initial public offering and listing on the NYSE in March 2018," said Alex Xu, the company's chairman and chief executive officer.

Yang joined GreenTree in 2016 as an executive assistant to the Chairman. She later served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and was more recently Vice President of Operations.

GreenTree, with more than 2,500 hotels in China, announced in November that its third quarter revenue grew 22 percent year-over-year to $37.4 million compared with the same period a year earlier. Income increased 36 percent to $22.2 million, or 50 cents per American depositary share.

Shares of the company closed today at $12.54 per share, down 3.5 percent on the day.
