China's RYB Education Institution (NYSE: RYB), the first Chinese early childhood education company to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange, is under investigation by the Beijing police for child abuse.

Several three-year-old children were allegedly tortured and needles inserted in their bodies by an RYB teacher.

"I can see needle holes in my kid's legs and thighs," said one of the angry parents. "I am furious and I can't sleep".

Beijing police said that after receiving the complaint, they have launched an investigation.

Other parents, shocked by the revelation, rushed to the school to look through the surveillance videos. However, their requests were denied by school security. Many parents are still waiting outside of the campus right now, demanding answers from the management.  So far, RYB has not yet commented on this situation.

This is not the first time that RYB Education has been accused of such incidents. In 2015, cases of child abuse by needle insertion were reported in one of RYB kindergartens.

RYB Education is a leading early childhood education service provider in China. The company began trading on the New York Stock Exchange this year on Sept. 27, under the symbol "RYB."
